In Gladiator, Hans Zimmer’s haunting theme "Now We Are Free" exists only in scattered fragments for most of the film.
It isn’t until Maximus dies at the end that Zimmer finally unleashes the melody in its entirety - proving that only in death is the hero truly liberated.

In 1972, a routine snorkel off the coast of Riace, Italy turned into an archaeological bombshell.

Diver Stefano Mariottini thought he’d found a corpse.
Spotting an arm rising from the seafloor, he immediately called the police.
However, when authorities arrived, they discovered the Riace Bronzes: two life-sized Greek warriors perfectly preserved after 2,000 years buried beneath the Mediterranean.

Few ancient masterpieces have ever resurfaced so dramatically - or survived so flawlessly.

Rex belonged to fruit merchant John E. Stow, who died in 1884.
For over a century, a statue of his loyal dog has stood guard at his grave.
But instead of flowers, visitors leave sticks at the dog's feet.
