At the meeting point of Slovakia, Austria, and Hungary, a unique picnic table offers visitors a chance to sit together across three national borders. It creates a simple but fascinating spot where people from different countries can gather around the same table.

What makes this location special is that a single picnic can bring three countries together without anyone needing to travel far. It’s a charming reminder that borders may separate nations, but shared spaces can bring people closer.

  • It is typically caused by a benign (non-cancerous) tumor on the pituitary gland that produces an excess of growth hormone.
  • Onset: Tillet began showing symptoms in his early twenties (around age 19 to 20).
  • Effects: The condition caused abnormal, progressive thickening and overgrowth of the bones in his hands, feet, face, and skull, which later led to his famous wrestling persona, "The French Angel."

A married couple made an incredible discovery years after falling in love.
They had unknowingly been in the same photograph 11 years before they ever met.
The picture was taken in July 2000 at May Fourth Square in Qingdao, China.
At the time, Xue was posing for a photo while Ye happened to be standing several metres behind her, posing for a completely separate picture.
They were total strangers.
Neither noticed the other, and they went on with their lives having no idea they had briefly crossed paths.
More than a decade later, the two met through mutual friends in 2011.
They fell in love and eventually got married.
Years after that, while looking through old family photos, Ye suddenly spotted a familiar figure in the background of one of Xue’s pictures.
It was him.
The couple had been captured in the same frame by pure chance, 11 years before they even knew each other existed.
