lol stupid thread tbh.

none of the reserve graders disappointed.. it was only the seasoned first graders like blair and benji that were the disappointing ones.

dont think anyone expected the young forwards to shine from their first game, maybe you did?

Exactly right it was only the seasoned first graders like blair and benji that were the disappointing ones.

CK still pushing the Moltzen barrow I see…give it a rest your man Moltzen will never play fullback again in this team.

Lawrence replaced by Simona who looked good last night and also the last time he played in the top grade I remember last year he looked sharp as well. He has to be there starting next week.
Ayshford replaced by Reddy who did Ok why he had to put his hand on the ball going dead however I don't know.

The point was that 4 guys who get bagged continually were out - and we copped a hiding.
If everyone was so good how come we got our backsides kicked?
Sorry - Blair and Marshall let 40 points run past them on their lonesome?
And , really….can't see how I'm pushing the Moltzen barrow when I named 3 other players alongside him- although you seem happy to continue your individual bias against him.

you failed to realise the point 1 kid goes good playing with experience. you put in 6 kids at once and you are going to have problems.

for example Teddy instead of Moltzen but everyone else at full strength.

so you're saying we got smashed BECAUSE of reddy, simona and teddy?

What I'm saying is plenty of people have said Lawrence, Moltzen , Ayshford and Anasta didn't deserve to be in the team and named any number of guys who would do better.
Well, NONE of them was there to lay the blame on last week.
The young guys tried but sometimes you need some experience on the field.

What are you talking about Simona was better than Lawrence, Tedesco was better then Moltzen , Reddy was better than Ayshford and Sironen/Sue was better than Anasta.

Why doesn't Blair have a rest next week,,now that's a reserve grader.

You can't blame everything on Blair.

x2 - plus players out of position, e.g., Simona instead of Thompson in the centres.

Thats not ''everybody'' :brick:

Count them, theres three/four mentioned.
They all WERE better than the players you mentioned.

Keep digging

Ok then , I must be wrong!
Everybody played out of their skin -we scored tries at will and saved countless certain tries with our sterling defence.
Oh , wait a minute… we lost 40-4 . :unamused:

Error of logic in causation there I think.

We were run over the top of Friday and never got on the front foot. When we did the muppet playing half stuffed it up.

Our three big errors for mine

1\. Marshall playing
2\. No props in rotation off the bench
3\. Starting Bodene in the centres

Lawrence is no **longer** a first grader. I would persist with Ayshford, but a couple of weeks in reggies could do these guys a world of good.

Start next week with Simona instad of Thompson, Sue to start at lock, Groat to the bench with Ava for front row rotation, and Pettybourne and Fulton on the bench. Thompson and Blair (Regretably) in the back row.
1\. Teddesco
2\. Korro
3\. Reddy ( or Reddy to Utas' wing and bring in Brien)
4\. Simona
5\. Utai ( Not a lot of options, except Reddy)
6\. Sirro
7\. Marshall
8\. Buchanen
9\. Farrah
10\. Woods (legend!!!)
11\. Blair
12\. Thompson
13\. Sue

14\. Groat
15\. Ava
16\. Pettybourne
17\. Fulton ( I would prefer Fulton to swap with Blair, but that aint gonna happen)
