I find it interesting that most of them predicted Manly to go backwards.

I think most teams look stronger this year. Manly have lost a half who was good for Cherry Evans . We Evans isn’t paired with someone strong next to him the backs don’t fire. Plus the forwards only have about two good players in the pack.
Manly are starting to look like the Tigers of the last few years. A few standout players surrounded by some real border line nrl/Reserve graders

Don't really care about these tipsters, just be happy if we make the eight and see where we go from there. Make the eight and i get to enjoy quite a few wins and hope we start by making our home games brutal to the opposition.

Yeah this is true, but I'm still wondering if Carney might pop up as their 5/8 sometime during the early part of the season.
