Doesn’t look like Weststigers will get a lot of free to air TV with this new draw.

Nope. Fox loves us though, so many Saturday games.

Methinks Parra are the chosen ones this season.
The NRL are pretty good at getting their fairytales and don't mind manipulating a few things to help achieve that. Think Dragons '10, Bunnies '14 and Sharks '16.
Teams that haven't won a comp for decades.......a lil' helping hand from the powers that be.
Parra look to be the ones this year IMO.

Didn't people say that about the Eels getting a good draw last year as well?

Probably. They finished the season 4th or 5th from memory so they might be been not far off the mark?

If roosters have the hardest draw

i would like to see them get the wooden spoon

As much as I'm excited about the upcoming season and shouldn't complain, I can't understand how a professional sporting organisation can create a draw that significantly favours some teams over others. A few weeks ago I posted a proposed draw for the remaining 5 games after everybody played once. It allowed for 3 rivalry matches and then 2 matches based on strength of schedule to make it as fair and even as possible. It took me about 2 hours to work it out. In what world is it fair that the Sharks who finished higher than us last year get to play Dragons, Titans, Warriors, Cowboys, and Panthers twice. Of course, it makes sense that they play Dragons as a rivalry match, but the entire bottom 4 four from 2019 with their highest placed rival finishing 10th. How is that fair?

It isn't fair. It's like they deliberately go out of their way to make it not fair. Why is the question.

Yes, why indeed? When you look at our draw it looks like they've applied correct logic. In my modelling I had us playing:

Panthers, Bulldogs, Eels, Sea Eagles, Cowboys

and we ended up getting almost identical in:

Panthers, Bulldogs, Eels, Rabbitohs, Knights

Not sure why strength of schedule didn't come into play for the Sharks.

They’ll have some flashy wins - cartwheels and all that crap. But when it gets tough, When you need to take a lonely hit up from your own 10m zone on a cold night in an empty stadium in the depths of July- well they’ll be frigged!

How would you suggest we go about securing financial support?

Matto will inspire them. He doesn't dog it on his teammates when the going gets tough ?

Wonder why the Raiders aren't allowed to play their home games at home like Storm, Broncos, Cows etc? Doesn't seem right.

Got to do with the CV restrictions at the time with the ACT I believe
