With the arrival of Mr Sheens, the restructuring of the coaches and some new arrivals in the playing ranks, I was beginning to gain interest for the new year. After seeing the 2022 draw, I am convinced that this will be a golden chance to make the finals. It is a kind draw to us. No solid month of playing top 6 teams, only playing some of the elite teams once and if we can win against teams ranked down with us we stand a good chance, providing the great Adam Doueihi returns to the field early enough.

I am actually getting excited now… I look forward to riding the roller coaster with you all.

Parra at Leichhardt makes no sense

Lol how. 2 of the biggest Sydney teams follower wise, rivalry has been there for years. It’ll sell out even if we’re running dead last at the time

So why not play it somewhere that holds more? I love Leichhardt but IMO it works perfectly for out of towners or lower drawing teams. Tigers v Parra is one of the few games that Homebush actually makes sense.

But you won’t get that crowd at Homebush. Eels will get it at Bankwest but playing there is a death sentence.

YOu think you will get a bigger crowd at LO than Homebush?

I am being serious and genuine. LO will sell out at full capacity let alone at reduced to 18K. You will get more people at Homebush for this game.

Yeah you'll get more people but heaps of them will be Parra fans. Why give them a leg up at a neutral ground or heaven forbid at their ground like previous years. Play them at Leichhardt, keep out the Parra fans and make it hostile for them

Thankyou Spartan117, none of us are strangers to rebuilding or bumpy roads…hopefully we can ride it out. I think 2022 will be a fun season for us as fans.

Ah the old Canberra at home in the final round trick.
Unlikely to be an issue next year though atleast.

Perfect when we are trying to finish 8th, get smashed by 40 and end up 9th. You know how sad your club is when you miss the days of finishing lol.

It is quite laughable that once again Brisbane have been allocated an away game for "magic round" at their home ground at suncorp.Once again they get 13 home games compared to everyone else,seems above board lol
