A couple of questions arise from all of this:
- I'm very interested to know that when James Tamou challenged the off side from the kick off and was told that it had been checked, how do we know? The video of the kick off was not replayed - it was just dismissed. It is actually in black and white in the rule book unlike some of the made up rules that Anusley was conjuring up.
All good questions Hank, the 1st
being particularly contentious
considering outcome of the game.
We do hear Butler say to Tamou
that they've checked the onside,
but did they? Like I mentioned
earlier that infringment precedes
the escort offence - they would
have been able to see Val offside
at the kick off if they looked?
NRL already admitted they got
the escort call wrong, this is a
double whammy. Should have
been penalty tigers at halfway
and a kick to touch to end the
game. Glad we have a SC onboard
looking at it all.. so many
aspects surrounding this are
farcial. Look forward to hearing
more about this, they're crooks
and I hope they get caught out
by the tapes, the official clock
or a technicality, It's wrong ...
