I wish!

Did you get on the Saints then?

Apparently St Kilda have firmed from 1000-1 to 5-1 second favourites for the AFL spoon with Betfair, maybe the AFL must not be happy with all the exposure League is getting and want in on the act.

By the way this isn’t a joke, TAB sportsbet has now suspended betting on the AFL spoon

I think it's just a precaution, and wishful thinking. Kind of like when Wicks got busted, they suspended betting on the NRL spoon, in case half the Knights team got done, when in reality it was just a benchie and a solid first grader. It's all just a precautionary measure.

I have take Newcastle up Tigers up Souths. I think the odds on Souths and the Tigers are just too good to be turned down.

Shame about the Storm. I had money on Cronulla at $5.50 before the season started for them to finish with the spoon. It had come into $1.70 and I was pretty confident. I feel sorry for the supporters and the punters.

Reading the article has a bit to do with Waldron being the St Kilda CEO from 2002-2004, A few punters have seen the link to Waldron and have plonked money on St Kilda to win the spoon and their price has plunged.

Theyre down to $3.50 now.

Even if they do get in trouble, the AFL wont strip points like the NRL, I think they will just strip them of draft picks like they did with Carlton.

That's what I was saying. The lowering of the odds is just a precaution by the betting agencies to ensure that if Waldron is found to have cheated with St Kilda, and they lose points, they aren't forking out massive payouts to everyone. On the flipside, a lot of the punters betting on St Kilda could just be wishful thinking.

Taking $150 out of my winnings last week.
Multi this week Penrith, Melbourne, Manly $150 return = $348

Well well what to do? I haven't placed this bet yet luckily but i'm still considering it, but i think the storm thing is just too risky. I might swap them for Parra

How the hell did Manly lose that game?

Yeah….sack Desi.....wow Manly cost you dough....that's gotta hurt.....

Ok Manly let me down but i'll have to give them a chance to redeem themselves.
Multi this week Parra, Manly, St george $200

Eels 13+
Broncos 13+
Western Bulldogs to beat St Kilda.

Paying around the $12-$14 mark. Might throw the Tahs into the multi as well.

Well Manly give me some nervous moments again but redeem themselves like i knew they would. There second half slumps are becoming a bit of a trend though.

MIght have a bye myself with the NRL betting. If anything I will throw a bit of money on all our Tigers reps to score first tonight.

Multi this week going for a bit of value Aus 13+, Manly 1-12, Nth Qld 1-12 $40@ $27.50= $1100

I thought it would be a round of upsets and went for some value but obviously not enough, if only i took a ticket with the opposite margins which were all paying more Aus 1-12, Manly 13+ ,Nth Qld 13+ who knows what that paid, i thought my $27.50 was adventurous.
