NRL Boxing

I was just thinking, should NRL boxing be an event? Once a year, a boxing event should be held with a main event and some undercards. Majority of the fights should be determined by rivalries during the season (2018- Mitchell & Chambers, Walker & Scott, etc).
Should it be a thing?

Nope. They're professional footballers not professional fighters. If I want to see amateurs fight I can just go to the local.

Can't see clubs allowing their players to do so. It would be dangerous without proper preparation and would make Aussie boxing even more farcical. Let footballers play footy and boxers box. Don't get me wrong I appreciate your interest and yeah I'd watch it but let footballers play footy and boxers box

It would be good as a fundraiser, but as a sporting spectacle it would be utter garbage.

Can you imagine 2 clowns like Gallen and Hopoate in the ring trying to pass themselves off as serious boxers?
