OK I am trying to get an idea of who will qualify for the WT FORUM FIRST GRADE league next season. If you are in nrl.com dreamteam and your team is not on the list then let me know your team name. The top 16 teams at the end of 2010 will qualify for WT FORUM FIRST GRADE in 2011\. There may be a WT FORUM RESERVE GRADE league for teams ranked 17th-32nd and so on.

Yeah those scores are before this round. I thought your team was RIVAS?

Don't worry about adding me to that list

This is not because I am getting my backside kicked week in week out but from my experience playing other fantasy leagues, I will not be joining the NRL.com Dreamteam next year unless the scoring system isn't fixed to stop bias' towards particlular positions (scoring is biased towards halves and forwards and doesn't reward backs).
 
tigerpies-tigerpies1-maree- sits on 7416 points after round 12 , i'm in 2500 position overall and have won both my eli minator games .
I'm in both STAR LEAGUE and The Skando Shield .
 
I agree…...this comp is rubbish.

May I suggest the tele one.

Me and my mates are in it and we have a ball.

FTR I am coming 177 out of about 120k,but ZI put a lot of time into it.....

This one is dumb,but I go in it for a little fun.

Next year we should go tele for sure.
 
I was in the Nearly NRL comp last year.

With a few tweaks it would be a truly great competition
 
I like the fact that this isnt associated with that Rag of a newspaper.

For me its a tanished brand.

I have seen Supercuach and its just slightly different.

The 2011 Super Challenge is a good idea as we will have all had a solid year and understand the rules and quirks etc…

I hope my chrunchies qualify

In the end - Its only fun and Feb 2011 is s v far away.
 
I enjoy playing both the Dreamteam & Supercoach comps because they do play very differently with regards to scoring. Keeps things interesting. That and i'm practically addicted to fantasy footy :laughing:

Could it be possible to have a top 16 for both NRL.com & DT Supercoach??
 
I am not in a DT Supercoach league so I can't do that.

Hmmm yeah I was thinking that it would be sad if there was no more Star League. If there is still Star League next year then you will be in it forsure.
 
I've got no idea how to play these things. Some games I'm sure my players had a blinder and they get like 8 points and I don't hear from other players at all and they get like 40.

You know what, I actually enjoy focusing on the head to head league games instead of focusing on overall points and overall rankings anyway. When you decide what trades you make you have to really focus on one or the other. I think I might stick with the head to head league tactics and not worry about overall points and overall ranking. It will mean that I don't get many points during the bye rounds which will mean I won't get as many overall points but I don't really care about that. Star League has been going since 2007 and I will run it again next year. In 2011 we will see Alien's Angels vs Picnic Point Tigers.
