+ the rule is firmly in place that overall points determin seedings each year...It is the fairest way...trades strenght of the opposition are all part of it....

A good administrator would think of these things...

On the NRL Lonescout facebook page he was asking people what changes would make Dream Team better and alot of suggestions were made. So I think it will be even better next year.

That rule about overall points determining ranking was only to determine who would be in which league for next season. It's only because we had a few different leagues so this will take the best teams from Skando Shield, Star League and the other leagues and put them in 1 strong league. Then for the years after that we were going to use the promotion/relegation system.

We should vote on these things though because I don't own the leagues - we all do. I'm just helping organising it.

I vote NRL Dream team on the grounds that we are now all familiar with the system and its quirks (Love or Hate them). Lone scout had asked for suggestions for improvements and enhancements mid season so I assume some things will change here.

Total Points is the only clear way to decide Promotion and delegation IE - Top 4 Comp2 replace bottom 4 of Comp1\. I think however the will be a lot of natural attrition and not all invitees will accept.

Any Idea when we can get in and start working on 2011??? (Yes I know I'm SAD)

I don't think we can open leagues until around January or February.

When you say total points you mean the points on the ladder before the finals and not the overall points aye?

Yeah we are using overall points to determine the rankings and to work out who is in what league for next year. I wouldn't mind if we keep using that system. We wouldn't have a promotion/relegation system though. It would just be the top 16 ranked teams by overall points from the season before who are in the WT FORUM FIRST GRADE comp no matter which nrl.com Dream Team comp you were in the year before. If we do this we would focus on overall points and we would have a chance to get the league into the top 10 leagues list and we would also have more of a chance to win those kool prizes.

I also want to stay with nrl.com Dream Team. This year was my first year using that one and I am sure there will be even more improvements for next year. Also the prizes are pretty good. I don't like the idea of the Fox Sports wildcard thing where the coaches that aren't that good could just copy the coaches that are up the top. I don't like the Telegraph one because it's the Telegraph. :laughing:

i was in Jim's Boys this year and we focused on the overall points and were pretty impressed to only loose out to the sportal crews but we still didnt win anything as far as i know

Nrl fantasy is awful…...I spent about a minute a week on it.

Daily tele is by far the best one........if you guys go in that ill play but i wont be wasting my time on a game where the only skill needed is to find the best 17 tacklers.

i dont think you would have won anything if your league came 3rd but it was still good that your league came 3rd. hopefully we get wt forum 1st grade on that list

Why not just play the tele one…..instead of waiting for it to improved there is already an improved one right there.

PS.........most tackles equals more points.
