jrd, how do you think you'll go this round? I think you will need to get over 800 points to beat me this week. Depends if any of my players get injuries I suppose. i think u will need to win this game and your last 2 games to make the top 8

in wt forum 1st grade the teams that are currently in the top 4 were formerly in star league. the suns (formerly sean's squad) who are coming 8th were in star league too. i think teams will need to have atleast 16 points (8 wins, 7 losses) to make the top 8 this year. it could come down to for-and-against because alot of teams are fairly close on the ladder. we might have a better idea after this round who will just make the top 8 and who will just miss out

Will be close. After this round i'll be 2 points out of the 8\. May not be enough because i can't control the other results. Went to Thailand for 3 weeks at the start of the season and looks like it will cost me.
One thing in my favour, i have a much better for-against than the other teams battling for 7-8th spot.

Fainty's Tigers achieved the highest score of the Round for the third week in a row. Fainty's Tigers, who won the Star League Premiership in 2010, are now favourites to win the WT Forum 1st Grade Premiership in 2011\. The Tigers smashed Geo's I BLEED BW&G. Geo's side will definately be relegated to WT Forum 2nd Grade after this season. I BLEED BW&G have only won 2 games all season (2 wins, 11 losses) and are currently in 15th place on the ladder.
Team Schmoo stay on top of the ladder after a massive win against the Mexican Monkeys. The Monkeys are 6th on the ladder, but look certain to make the Finals.
The 2008 Star League Premiers, Diggaz Dynasty, are starting to look impressive. The Dynasty had a good win over the Chrunchy Spartans2\. The win keeps it possible for the Dynasty to make the Top 8 if they win their 2 remaining games, but will also have to rely on other results. The Dynasty is a team that other teams will not want to go against in the Finals. The loss for Chrunchy Spartans2 means they may need to win their 2 remaining games to make the Top 8\. It doesn't get any easier for the Spartans - they play Alien's Angels next Round.
The Angels had a good win against the Aldinga Allstars. The Angels remain in 4th place on the ladder.The loss for the Allstars means they will now need to win both of their remaining games to make the Finals, and they will also have to rely on other results going their way.
Tigerpies have basically guaranteed themselves a Top 2 finish, and still a chance for the Minor Premiership, after a massive win against The Consultants. The loss for The Consultants means they will probably need to win their remaining 2 games, and rely on other results to make the Finals.
5th placed RIVAS had a massive victory over Smeghead's Forced Entry. The win for RIVAS guarantees them a spot in the WT Forum 1st Grade Finals Series in 2011\. The loss for Forced Entry means they will almost certainly miss the Finals, and now need to focus on avoiding relegation.
9th placed Greece XIII had a huge win against last placed Vanilla Gorillas. The win gives Greece XIII a chance to make the Finals, but will probably need to win their remaining 2 games. Vanilla Gorillas, who have only had 1 victory this season, will definately be relegated to WT Forum 2nd Grade at the end of the season.
7th placed The Suns had a very important victory over 14th placed CCW Tigers. The win gives The Suns a good chance of making the Finals, but they still might need to win their 2 remaining games to make the Top 8\. CCW Tigers, who have only won 2 games this season, will definately be relegated at the end of the season.
With 2 Rounds remaining until the Finals there are only 3 teams that can't make the Finals.
Looking ahead to Week 1 of the Finals it looks like there could be a block-buster match with Alien's Angels taking on RIVAS.

i dont know if i can win it this year. not being able to get into dreamteam for 6 weeks stuffed me up. it was just after round 2 when that hacker attacked my dreamteam account, so i was unable to get some of the good players for cheap. i had to pay alot more for them than the other coaches. i will still go pretty well though but i dont know if i can win it this year
