With the bye are people trading....I've lost sight of the cash prizes so now all that counts is the comp....

I may even trade in blokes not playng this week....Marauders cashed up....

I used it to finally offload Moltzen and picked up Dureau really cheap.

My halves should not be afftected by rep footy though.

Galloway is losing value though which is a worry

I don't think I'll be making any more trades until 8 weeks (when I play against Team Schmoo). I'll save plenty of trades for the run home and the finals.

When it comes to nrl.com Dream Team trading there are 2 groups of coaches.

The goal of the first group is to win the Grand Final in their league, instead of caring about their overall Dream Team ranking. People in this group probably wont bother trading much during the byes (test match and State of Origin period).

The goal of the second group is to get their overall ranking as high as possible, but how they go in their own league isn't as important. This group will trade more than the first group during the State of Origin period because some of their players could be State of Origin players, so they might waste trades selling them before State of Origin and then waste more trades buying those star players back after State of Origin. This means they will use up trades quicker than those in the first group and this could hurt them later in the year, especially in the finals if they make it.

I am just wondering who is in which group. I am definately in the first group.

I am a mixture of the two groups.

However I thought you had grand plans of ranking all competitor across the various leagues so you can make one elite league for next season?

With this in mind, wouldn't you be better off fitting into the second group of traders?

This will also allow us to gather the to 16 into a elite comp for 2011

Makes the most sense to me.

I am on 4,769, ranked 10,311\. Still learning the ropes.

the league ranking isn't too bad but will be much better if a few of the bottom teams pull their finger out.
