NRL finals footy discussion 2026

It’s crazy to think we could’ve signed Holbrook back in 2023, but Sheens was adamant that his mentorship and the transition to Benji as coach would succeed.

In saying that, it's hard to say if HBG would have not broken Holbrook too.

Anyone that comes here, comes with an with an asterisk. Coach or player. You’ll never get a better example than Luai. They can look like a million bucks. But then they come here and they look like they are trying to win Wimbledon on a basketball court.

Feels inevitable any coach or player is set up to fail

Well done Knights ( Justin Holbrook) just shows what can happen to a club who finishes lasts, loses good players but is still competitive.
You don’t have to fall apart but you can keep fighting. Please note Tiger players and coaches !

Shouldn't have been this close, Newcastle were at least 18-20 points better.

Gagai vs Mitchell , I was hoping both headbutt each other and get knocked out. When their heads come in contact, they'll finally have one brain cell to share.

They’ve come a long way from last season with that other idiot leading them. He was asked at a press conference after one game if he was going to makes changes, and he replied there was no one better in the lower grades, and Ponga shook his head in disbelief.

Very satisfying to see Trell come crashing back to earth. Trying to run roughshod over a 337 game veteran doesn’t quit hit the same as when you’re standing over a laid out rookie. Parasite.

If Cody played Latrell would have got more ball. They lost their way with the ball completely when he went off. Love or hate him the few touches he had gave Souths opportunity.
Best team won on the night that's all you can ask for but the spectacle for me was spoiled when Souths lost Walker.
