OMG the Storm was actually robbed! ?

Bout time the shoe was on the other foot !!

Yeah true, but it was an absolute howler! It wasn’t even close! We’d be blowing up deluxe if it happened to us.

But now it's storm fans blowing up - beautiful

Love it

How quick were the storm getting off the tackled player in the last 2 mins last night. The irony was delicious.

Love it ... just love it!

The impact that win has on the Raiders season is massive. A loss last night and they have to go through the Roosters in the prelim. But now they get a very winnable prelim at home. Everyone going on about Hasler, but what about Stuart. Doesn’t get nearly enough of the credit he deserves because everyone hates “Wicky” (an insult I never understand. Does he have a lisp?). They have been the smartest recruiting club of the last 3 or 4 years. They understand Canberra is one of the most undeseribsle places to live and that players wouldn’t want to live there. So they looked at the ESL. They realised English players wouldn’t be turned off because Canberra is probably very similar to the north of England in regards to the weather and excitement level. Bateman, Whitehead and Hodgson are gems. Full credit to Stuart.

Hear, hear! I remember a few years ago when Stuart said he was getting sick of not being able to attract the elite players down there and that he would have to look to the ESL to find some gold. Hodgson, Bateman and Whitehead have been outstanding buys and Ricky’s development of players like Leilua , Wighton, CNK & Sezer who struggled for consistency early in their careers has been amazing. After many years at the helm developing the team, he finally seems to have to right blend of players who have a realistic chance of winning the comp.

Since we struggle to attract the elite players also, I really think we should follow suit and start scouring the ESL for some good players who are willing to give the NRL a shot. Our cap is still an issue of course, but surely we could snare a couple of decent Poms who would love a crack at playing in the NRL.

Of course longevity of the coach is a must also. Ricky has been at the Raiders for several years now and he has stuck through the ups and (mostly) downs because he loves the club. Now he is starting to reap what he has sown into it. If Madge is prepared to do the same for us and hang in there for the long haul, developing the team, then maybe someday we might be a realistic chance of winning the comp again also. We can only hope 🙏🏼

If it wasn’t for Turpin, Darius might have been a contender for the rudest haircut of the finals thus far. Shout out to Denan Kemp.

Good crowd yes. Sellout - not likely. Stacks of spare seats in the top deck

Good call - we won’t really see on TV but I’d be interested to know how the entirely corporate side of the ground is going for a finals match. It’s been empty during most games.

Mate I will gladly take of my ?

Moses with a brilliant bit of play capped of with peacocking at the opposition prop afterward. Bring back the biff!

Think Parra are playing their gf today. Seiblod needs to take a look at himself squandering a side with this much talent. Should be in the top 4.

Eels thrashing Donkey’s... I’m lamenting my reasons for watching this game... or any finals game? Like, seriously, outcome is a foregone conclusion. Roosters again, BTW

I’m hoping the English blokes from the ACT have something to say about that.
