NRL finals - Week 1 (spoilers)

Me. .

And Kerry Cogger should be starting an investigation as to why there are 2 many sydney teams left and they all play next week

Surely they will move one to suncorp

The Broncos' hidden weaknesses are really being shown up by Dragons. The Broncos have a few very inexperienced forwards who have huge tackling problems under pressure. Also their backs, primarily their halves and one ex-winger now centre are showing terrible defence. If the Tigers had sneaked into the 8th position instead of Broncos we could have gone further in September.

Yeah, I said theyd likely not win the comp this year due to inexperience

The Dragons have the pack that can smash the opposition, and the speed in the backs to capitalise on that.
We don’t have either unfortunately

Watched the first half and then listened to the second half while travelling home yesterday. Gutsy stuff by the Dragons, Tariq Sims blew the doors off it in the first half.

We could use a forward or two like him

Yeah he's pretty lethal when he's on his game. Not sure how they'll fare against the vermin next week, have a feeling they may have played their grand final yesterday, plenty of busted players coming away from that one.

Why do I think that Souths will face St George next week for ??

Something tells me with Widdop back they will be an entirely different kettle of fish , I know Vaughan is a big lose …....reckon they have one last big game in them

Who was this genius who picked this result ??

Please tell us, the suspense is killing me.

Can't remember , probably your favourite idol

Wayne Pearce picked it?

Peter wallace is a trainer????
He was playing this year wasnt he….doesnt seem quite right having ''14 players'' on the field

Get your own material Kent

THE time Panthers’ trainer Peter Wallace spends on the field has the potential to be an epidemic, if the NRL don’t act.
>
Wallace was caught on camera spending a lot of time directing from the backfield during the Panthers win over the Warriors and Paul Kent has urged the NRL to stamp it out.
>
“It’s a disgrace,” Kent told NRL 360.
>
“The NRL need to sit down and say look this isn’t under 8s where coaches are allowed to be on the field.
>
“What we face a risk of now is that Peter Wallace played this season for Penrith and retired mid-season.
>
“He knows all the plays, he knows their structure, he knows what they are trying to achieve because he trained with this team as the dummyhalf and one of the spine.
>
“If we allow this to continue it will be a disaster.”
>
The way it works in the NRL is the trainer is allowed on until tackle four and he must be off the field when a team is in defence.
>
“What Wallace is doing and we see Alfie Langer doing it as well, is that they are directing players around the park,” Kent said.
>
“It’s like we are using a remote control. Give the game back to the players.”
