Judiciary Report: Loiero charged for cannonball tackle

Melbourne forward Trent Loiero has been charged with a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact offence after his cannonball tackle on Wests Tigers forward Luciano Leilua during his side's win on Saturday night.

As it is his first offence, Loiero faces a fine of $1,000 with an early guilty plea.

Loiero's offence is the only charge from the Match Review Committee through the opening six games of the 2022 NRL Telstra Premiership season.

Will be interesting to see what happens with Lindsay Collins who did it again

Defining moment...reduced lucys impact

If he had been binned we could of kept the pressure on and scored another try before the half ,and maybe we couldve won

It was not written on Suttons "management" sheet so it was never going to happen. To be honest i was a little surprised Sutton didn't penalize Lucy for milking

That was cause it was Suttoon Jnr..he'll learn..

Everyone wants the “Cannonball tackles” eliminated from the game, and he gets hit with a feather duster.
What incentive is there to stop players doing it.
Madge should instruct all his players to do it and take out all the opposition players, it would only cost $13,000. (Just joking)

If anyone cannonballs Latrell (or any other golden child) will the NRL will give them a $1000 fine?
If it's latrell, hopefully they get some diamonds like Mrs Smith. That grub needs some payback, especially from that dog shot on manu.
