NRL MEDIA YOU CANT STAND

I dont hear him much but Slater is interesting to listen to...gives a good insight into the game...breaks it down and provides interesting and often overlooked ( to me at least) views on a topic
Cronk on M&C is good value also...but his live commentary is often just stating the obvious.

Many have mentioned sugar caine, i dont mind him from a betting perspective and i can handle.jimmy smith either way.

I may listen to a pod at the gym but rarely make it thru the whole thing tgheyre all too long...but not at home.
In the car the radio is on SEN or MMM but dont listen to much of that either othern than when driving somewhere

Charlie white is one of the worst tbh, like pretty much a fan going on radio
 
The fact they had 30 years to replace Rabs and the guy they found was the best they could do shows how shallow the pool of commentators is. He sounds like a drunk who wandered in the box from the bar and they handed him a microphone.

Apart from a couple of well known knobs, I thought the media were quite kind to us during this season. Most of them really wanted to see us pick back up again after we faltered, yet again. They were much harsher on the Broncos and for good reason. Madge is always a target wherever he goes, but their fall from the top to near bottom was very dramatic and demanded some scrutiny.

We love the club and take them to task more often than not, but take offence people who are in the game when they do they same.

You'll probably cringe B, but what's that old saying the truth hurts, yeah, yeah, an oldie but a goodie.
 
I look at NZ Rugby coverage, afl coverage and then NRL and tbh NRL commentators don't like the game. Even resent players are on the negative. The other 2 codes try and protect their code, or promote it.
A negative news story and ours are all over it...they want the NRL to be just like the days of our lives

We deserve the criticism but what pisses me off is when we have a good win it's because our opponent played poorly. Give credit where credit is due!

He reminds me of the times Waterhouse used to be promoting bettings odd on the footy broadcast. A complete fish out of water. It is clear the bloke is not knowledgeable about league. He drifts way too much into gossip and he's steered James Graham into a style of show he's not adept at. He may be okay as a producer but he shouldn't be on the mic and he needs to be teamed up with someone different for the podcast.
 
I can't stand any of them. They need to bring back someone who just calls the game without trying to make themselves a celebrity.
I would love if they brought back the stadium sound thing that they used to have on Foxtel. It was made to try and make it feel like you were at the ground but it was good to just have the option of no commentary but still sound
 
I am Lucky. Not only is it still 1957 over here in Adelaide, but I am not listening to any East Coast sports media TV, radio or clickbait online rubbish. I watched an Online stream on Ch9 once and saw ads for the first time in colour and I was scared and then wondered why they weren't part of Albo's clamp down on misinformation. Frank Hyde & Rex Mossop were and remain The Greatest.
