I’m liking the look of Walters. I think he is the guy you put in if Benji is injured or retires. I still don’t understand what Cam Smith didn’t like about his play?


After watching Walters in game 2 I can see he is a 6. Could prove to be a valuable pick up. Why hasn’t he been playing nrl before now . Late bloomer?

Walters can make things happen

i see him as an exact copy of Reynolds with all the crazy taken out. For mine Reynolds is so invested in the "High energy/High enthusiasm" narrative to compensate for lack of talent that he ends up a crazy chook with his head cut off. Walters has the good bits with a more level head.

For mine Walters replaces REynolds which means a backup 6 with a possibility of backup 9. Of course our depth at 9 is even more shallow than 6. i wouldnt be surprised to see him there in the short term.
