Wests Tigers captain Robbie Farah says the pressure of playing semi-final footy has come early for his team.

The NSW hooker will find himself at half-back to partner five-eighth Benji Marshall in tomorrow’s crucial clash against South Sydney at ANZ Stadium. Masada Iosefa will start at hooker.

The shift to half-back for Farah follows the loss of centre Chris Lawrence, five-eighth Curtis Sironen and forward Ben Murdoch-Masila through injury after Monday’s night defeat to North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville.

Farah is aware of the challenge facing his side against the third placed Rabbitohs after a difficult week for the team.

“They are playing great. They have got a big pack of forward that are going forward and making things easy for their halves and the guys out wide,’’ Farah said this morning.

“A key for us is trying to stop them in the middle. They are high on confidence and are playing great footy.

“We are desperate and we need to win. We find ourselves out of the (top) eight with the results last night and that is going to be the way for the next 5-6 weeks.

“Teams are going to win and go ahead if we lose. If we win, we will keep ourselves above them.

“We have been in this situation before. Our semi-finals start early really. We have got to win and keep winning.”

a better to start to the season, would have solved this problem. :imp:

but what's done cannot be changed.

this game determines if wests-tigers will **_sink or swim_** for a finals spot. :unamused:

They haven't been good.

Don't think Miller has been given a good enough chance in first grade tbh, hell the coach gave Morris 2 1/2 years. Thought Humble was going fine at halfback, at least good enough to fill in.

If you use Morris as an example you win and win easily. Lets pray that never happens again.

Here's hoping, I don't think he'd do it again though

I think Miller was injured early on against Souths in the NYC today too.
