Agreed. I actually like Slater as a commentator - doesn't try and do a stand up routine just explains things in a very clear fashion. Way, way better than Cronk and far less objectionable than C Smith.

Slater makes Freddy and Joey better because they have less banter and more football discussion. He comes across as a pretty bright bloke.
