Channel nine is nearly bearable without Fitler and Johns. I actually like Fatty, doesn’t take himself seriously and has a good sense of humour

Fatty is on fire tonight ?

Making Cams night keeping him entertained

Hynes doesn't strike me as a halfback. Playing alright but he's definitely better at fullback

I was thinking the same the Sharkies brought him a halfback Melbourne make players look good can the Sharkies do the same

Why'd we let Seve go..

Didn't he go to Broncos when he left WT'S

QLD cup.

Never played for the Broncos though.
Feeder, Brisbane Tigers.

Has anyone else noticed that players are standing “out of play” after the tackle is made directly next to the dummy half? It completely blocks a play down one side. I’ve only started noticing this the last few weeks.

Not happening a lot but enough for me to comment…

It has been happening quite a lot - why are they not called off side?

Still should give himself an uppercut - Manly and QLD filth.

Sam McIntire played real good..smashed them all night in D.

Yeah, was amazed we couldn't find the money to keep him?

Seyfarth is the better player, I'd say.

We had McIntyre under contract for a few years and he only made grade towards the end.
He definitely looked good though.

Better person than Eiso, Aloiai and Matterson.

Need I remind u, he made a comment where he stated... words to the effect of...
.
"It's great being at a club like Penrith that is actually a professional club "

@Geo may recall better but basically having a dig at us.

To me that is just window dressing when you go to a new club its a massive difference to being a dog like the other 2

Wasn't there a change in interpretation of the rule. I remember that if a player found himself caught in that position, the dummy half would often just toss the ball in to them and get a penalty. Robbie Farah used to do that quite often.

Then the NRL said that they weren't going to penalise if the referee thought the DH was deliberately playing for a penalty.

Now, as you rightly observe, players hang around in that area after the play the ball to slow down the DH's service or to close off one side of the attack. It's a common occurrence on the 5th tackle.

I prefer the original interpretation. It's the tacklers job to stay out of the way. End of story.
