I don't think you can blame the NRL much for the lopsided games.

There aren't many sports where you don't find games like these on a regular basis.

That being said, it is just this round where there was always gonna be 6 very clear winners.

You can definitely blame the NRL. There is a clear difference this year with the rule changes and it directly correlates to more blowouts. We've barely had any close games all year

The rule changes happened because every fan was complaining there is too much wrestle, not enough free flowing football, ball is out of play too much etc and NRL has reacted to it.

Just last 2 weeks we had some incredible games in Parra/Storm, Warriors/Raiders, Penrith/Storm etc.

Some teams are adapting to the changes and some teams are giving up.
