If west’s are gunna miss out on the 8 again, I wish benji was still here.

Why? So we can run 11th again?

Does everyone realise that game was 40-30 ? That’s a benji special . Looks great 6 times a year , but a sure fire way to guarantee you never win when it matters . That was bad defence and touch footy .
Im glad for him he played well , but seriously , playing like that has got us nothing the last 10 years .

Just like to add did Benji play last week when the Tigers were hammering Souths in defence did not notice him much ..The best thing the club did was not resign him ,he is fair weather player these days Souths get on top Benji steps up other than that just a passenger !

Honestly , I have no issue with him. I think he’s self absorbed , but that’s not really a judgement more an observation . I just know that last year , much like his first stint with us , he was starting to strut around like he was bigger than the club . That stuff is toxic , especially when the guy doing it , only wants to play 1 side of the field , and shirk the defence . Which he did last year with us . We are a very young team now , especially at our core , and we needed a different voice in the sheds , and we had to answer the Luke brooks conundrum. Is he or isn’t he , the man to do the job . By the end of the year that question will be answered . I’m backing him , but we seriously could never know with a guy like benji here .

I was hoping he would retire for fear that he just might get picked up by a good squad and add something to it. Didn't expect him to hold a regular FG position and be so prominent. Don't begrudge him he felt he had more to offer and he has proved that to be true - just irritated by all those who are going to enjoy rubbing it in our face.

Yeah I have a mate and bro in law....
It's annoying

I am stoked to see Benji at 36 years old still able to do what he's doing. He's a legend of the game and a legend of our club. Any fan that's been around since the start ought to be happy to see it really but who am I to judge.

Despite Titan's capitulation, It's good to see Corey Thompson getting the success he deserves and potting holes in our recruitment methodology.

If Todd Payten thinks Tom Dearden is the answer think again.. The donkeys have themselves in a three way tie for the worst halves in the comp with Dearden, Croft and Milford.
Also Fifita and Thompson should be able to inflict copious amounts of punishment on the other 15 Titans last night. Without them Souffs could’ve racked up 60.

I like to see him go well. But I think he’s playing for a contract. The bench really suits him as over time he does lose consistency. His job is also easier at south’s as their defence is much better. Once he puts a few into row 3 we will only hear crickets from the media

He's playing great, how good was the run to set up one of their tries?

That’s the really hard bit. Once again he is the champ and we look incompetent when it comes to recruitment and retention. Never mind the context and the fact that he rarely played as well as he did last night for us in the past two years. No, it’s all just black and white to the media, to them it’s just another mistake in a very long list of blunders made by our club.

I don't agree. Dearden is a good young half in a team struggling. He would be a very good buy for any club.

Reckon doggies have a decent shot of getting a win today! Didn't tip them though 😂

I thought so too , but since sharks only 2 wins for season , I think they will be up for it and win
