We are getting the opposite of what we had last year as everyone complained about the excessive penalties so we are now seeing the opposite.

Not quite everyone, as we were happy for the whistle to be blown for as long as it took to fix the problem, which has always come down to coaching. We would not be having this conversation if others had showed a little more patience, rather than complaining about rules being enforced.

I agree with the reduction to the interchange and think it will make a big difference to the game. Very interesting article about that in the paper today! Basically saying it will decrease collision injuries in the game.

I know this might be a bit of left field approach but how about if it's a penalty blow a penalty if it's not play on..

I agree fully, I just wish they let the refs ref the game without the extra guidance of "this year we are going to let the game flow" or "we are going to clean up the ruck" Let refs ref, let them use their personality in doing so and don't expect them to be all the same like robots!

Pretty much by everyone I meant Gould, Johns etc. Because to the NRL they are everyone!!

@formerguest the crackdown was for nothing unfortunately. The coaches and the players are now taking the proverbial in the ruck so far this year.

Matulino should be a Hargreaves type player. Actually run hard like be wants to run over people then look to offload

Yep, most even comp in years. Well done Todd. Salary cap working fine. I suppose your daughters friends told you that too you bean!
