NRL vs QRL vs NSWRL

Wouldn't a rugby league knockout comp involving NRL QRL & NSWRL teams be totally kick ass, random draw one loss your history!
ARL Champions cup???

I say this cause I can't get enough league, NRL is with us for 6 months a year, NOT ENOUGH and I'm pretty sure the players would rather play more than train more which they currently do!

Its a good idea, but wouldnt work,
Because lots of the players in NSW Cup are from First Grade squads.. and you may have bulldogs fg vs bulldogs rg

Your probly right, but I can dream!! And I did realise that there could be half a chance that a FG team could face off against there RG brothers I just think the idea in theory could really strengthen the second tier comps, anyways… I'll keep dreaming!

You'd have to exclude NRL teams surely? You could conceivably have something like the AFL knock-out comp that has the leading teams from the minor leagues. Say a 16 team KO with 4 state teams, 4 QRL teams, 4 NSWRL teams, and 4 Country divisions? They're just numbers for the sake of it so don't get too caught up on the split!

Yep. Although on a much bigger scale and with public interest enough to make it profitable.

Love the idea B&W but unfortunately the QRL teams are as weak as …. Especially after Brisbane Wests were tossed out

Maybe if they could play under the Qld Residents tag with some of the cast offs from the Titans ,Broncos and Cowboys they could be reasonably strong

Add a PNG side ,NZ residents side ,Pacific Islands side ,NSW Country side, NSW Cup side,possibly even a best of the best combined NYC cup side and it is a possibility
