Anyone else think Teddy is gonna get ruined if hes named ?

I gotta feeling he will be outclassed and outplayed to the point of humiliation.
Hes a good player. Nothing special this year. Not quite origin worthy.
 
I think he'll step up, they all usually do. How many players have you seen playing average for their teams over the years, but end up going gangbusters when they're chosen in Origin - Merrin, Lewis, Bird, Jennings - just to name a few.

Don't underestimate Tedesco, just because you've got the poops about him leaving us doesn't mean he is not a good player.
 
Remember who we're talking of here. Tedesco is an amazing player. Shitty attitude towards us but still an amazing player.
 
Yeah ane nsw are a team of losers, tedesco will come out of this injured.
 
If you're going to pick a player based on their ability to step up during big games, then I'd have to go with Hayne for fullback. Easily been NSW's best player over the last 10 years and has the runs on the board at origin level. On current form Tedesco isn't close to playing at origin level.
 
Hayne should have it but wouldn't be surprised if he's left out as more of a developmental process. Trbojevic should've had it easy if he wasn't injured though. Hayne would scare QLD more than Teddy would.
Here's hoping he goes out there and kills it though, deserves it after what he's done for us and hopefully he'll bring some form back with him.
 
Trbojevic might have put some pressure on him if he weren't injured but Tedesco will be one of the first picked now. He'll go fine. He won't be targeted anywhere near as much in defence with the strike players he'll have around him. He also won't get away with not passing or giving crap service in that backline…
 
OP has written their post with a bit of envy methinks.

If he does get picked he'll lift, which sucks because if he bottles it again tonight it shows he's only playing for one jersey this year and it ain't ours.

If Daly is picking the team on form - he will not be anywhere near the side.
One good game in ten is not a good average.
 
I hope Teddy carves the Broncos up tonight and gets picked , he will need to step up tonight if he wants to be picked , could be perfect timing for us over the broncos
