The fitzgibbon try showcases to me why we need to be patient with him, his ability to step sharply and then accelerate is extremelly dangerous...just needs some defensive work and we r looking at a star

I havent been to a game of footy for approx 20 years, so I drove down from the Upper Hunter area where I live to watch the top of the table clash Wests Magpies V Pen-Riff-Raff and what happens, the Magpies get thrashed :face_palm: .
Oh well, as they say 'that's footy'.
Maybe me being there was the reason they played so badly.
So if I stay away they will be undefeated from now on :grinning:
But, the good part was Jersey Flegg WON in another top of the table clash :+1: .

I was in the Hunter last weekend for a wedding and came home with a mouse in the luggage.

Holy toledo!
A very unpleasant surprise.

They are on the march and heading to a house near you.

The punch line for me was his insurance company 'covered' the damage, which not many insurers do apparently.

Funny you say that Magpies about being a bad omen. I remember being offered to fly down for the 2005 GF to watch the Tigers and declined for exactly the same reason. I’m convinced I’m a bad luck charm when it comes to my team losing when I watch live. Obviously have given myself an uppercut pretty much every year since for that decision. Although I do like to think I played at part in that victory due to that decision. ??

I don’t know if I could say no again.
Perhaps my luck has changed as I’m two from two at magic round Tigers games

Another player from WT’s undefeated Jersey Flegg side is set to debut in NSW Cup this weekend.
Teenage prop sensation Fonua Pole is named to debut off the bench. Has gone from Balmain SG Ball to Jersey Flegg to NSW Cup in 2 months. 👏

i hope BJ goes well in the forwards. I think he has probably realised he has lost some lateral movement and is a bit of a liability in the one on one situations created in the centres. If he can develop an engine he sure runs hard enough and can be damaging enough in the back row.

I don't think this guy will do well at any position.

Lazy and unfit.

2RF is not the position for him either sadly.
He'd be a weapon in local comp stuff though.
That's where he belongs.

Im with you mate,BJ was one of the most damaging centres in the NRL,he won Dally M centre of the year a couple of times,no mean feat if you havent got the ability...I think his family situation during covid and his desire to compete waned, sadly it made him a liability to our side...I hope he can become a damaging second rower because in my opinion only,he still has a fair bit to give at NRL level, its all up to him...I just dont want to put the boot into a bloke that wants to make a positional shift that may bring the best back out of him and benefit his club and career...Im not a BJ hardened fan,but I can see how much skill and damage he can do when he is right..As I said its all up to him and I wish him well, also I hope he can regain some of his form it would help the Magpies no end in winning the comp...
