Western Suburbs Magpies Knock-On Effect NSW Cup coach Ben Gardiner has named his line-up for their Round 8 clash against St George Illawarra Dragons at WIN Stadium.

NRL squad member Tuki Simpkins returns from a two-game suspension and will start at lock for the game, while Michael Chee Kam comes back into the team after spending last week in the NRL team.


Shawn Blore has been named to start as he plays his second game of the year after returning from a wrist injury last Sunday.

Tom Freebairn gets his chance to start in the front row, while playmaker Zach Dockar-Clay has been named as the bench utility.

Junior Pauga was playing in the Warriors Holden Cup team in 2016 apparently. He's 25. Have never heard of him hmm.

He's been playing for Wynnum Manly up in Q cup. 4 games, 4 tries 3 try assists 3 line breaks 21 tackle breaks 143 metres a game. Pretty good stats

I don't get it ...MCK was playing back row .....played NRL and showed exactly why he shouldn't play centre at this level ..and then gets put back in the centres

As you know, I am his biggest critic at center...but for NSW Cup I think he should be there.

Why? We have a really solid backrow combo potentially in state cup and we need to give them all the mins they can get (Blore / Tuilagi / Tuki)...

MCK is gone next season anyway, so let him just run around where reggies need him...but don't block a young guys development.
