It's a very good side and considering Taylor is picking the side and I know 8 of the selections at this stage I am not confident at all.

I thought they would announce the team after Sunday's Canterbury match win….

I can tell you that Nathan Waters & Geoff Daniella are in the side as that has been announced in the Wests Magpies game report. Until the NSWRL releases the team though I won't be revealing any other names though

Massive congratulations to all of the selected players from the Magpies and Tigers. Some suprising omissions from each side and with Kennedy barely playing for the Jets this year looks like the Tigers face off against the Jets without our defensive workhorse and fullback. Hopefully Gower is released to play though

Bromwich has been destroyed by Balmain & Wests each time they have played and Kostjasyn is about the 5th best hooker in the comp.

Balmain got off fairly lightly and some players can count themselves unlucky not to be selected. Gareth Widdop at 6 is an interesting selection since he just played fullback for England.

MArtin Kennedy failed a fitness test and David Gower has been promoted to the starting lineup.

Matt Ryan is the new 18th man and it is a just reward for a great start to 2010 for the red unit

David Simmons has been named for the Panthers NRL side and as such will be ruled out. With Michael Lett also ruled out surely Akeripa, Davis or Pritchard may get a run. Maybe Matt Ryan will start in the centre position
