NSW SOO Team

I love how Stuart kept the 'spine' - Dugan, Soward, Pearce and Ennis - the weakest spine in SOO history! The spine should be Hayne, Carney, (Anyone but Soward) and Farah.

Sack Stuart now!

Its the sheens influence….gotta do things the hard way.
Cant replace a fullback with a fullback, its gtta be a 7, cant replace a 7 with a 7, its gotta be a 9.
I wonder if Tim does this sorta shit at home, like trying to comb his hair with a rake

We always get injuries between games and qld hardly ever do specially with there star players.

But its given a few other guys a chance that should have been there in game 1 hayne and watmough.

I would give mannah and creagh the flick they offer nothing in atack they are both just god honest first graders we need more.

**How many average games is ennis aloud before robbie gets another chance.Robbie had 1 bad game and it looks like they have put a red pen through his name.Left foot short kicking game from dummy half would give us a few more repeat sets i think.Anyone disagree**

No disagreement from me. Unfortunately, though, it appears the selectors are refusing to give Robbie another go. I think you hit the nail on the head about the red pen through his name. Why? Well, that's anyone's guess.

To be fair a few good players have been picked for NSW but it is the mysterious selections posted in this thread that lead the NSW supporters I know (myself included) to treat the NSW SOO hierarchy with utter contempt and frustration. It is getting worse as time goes on just when you think it couldn't.

They must be running out of NSW eligible players at Manly who haven't been picked. So now they have:
B Stewart
G Stewart
Hopoate
Lyons
Williams
King
Kite
Watmough

Any more? Ballin and Cherry-Evans are Qlders, Matai and Foran are Kiwis. George Rose for game 3?

obviously Stuart didnt watch the reply of Origin 1… How is that Front Row gona make meters up the middle???

You must be spitting out your XXXX from laughter.

Poor side. Cant wait to see them smashed.

No sympathy for those who create their own problems. Chucking that green horn Hopoate in against our backline is foolish. That forward pack, including the bench will be dominated. NSW only hope is that Sowards kicking is perfect, Hayne has a blinder and Watmough finds space.

**Is it un-australian of me to want NSW to get smashed?**

Seriously, Tim Mannah? He got killed by Dan Hunt on friday night, did nothing in Origin one, so lets promote him to the starting side? Unbelievable.

I dont agree with Hopoate, but at least its an exciting gamble…however.....the guy isnt even playing league next year.

Nope King Sirro - I'm with you. and Original Magpie, Although my heart is behind the blues, the disparaging choices of players who are "Origin Tough/Made for Origin" and the band-aid style tactics are head shakingly bad, and don't make me want to follow them.

Going for the Tigers during the darker times is different to me, since it's an inherent since birth thing, whereas NSW has all the resources, and talent to choose from, and still make some awful decisions IMHO.

We may be very Un-New-South-Welshman Sirro, however i'd happily sit beside you at a pub and watch the game downing XXXX any day, enjoying the ineptness of Ennis' niggle, watching the maroons getting silly penalties off the back of Greg bird, and seeing Beau Scott trying to get into fights with people who are clearly mentally and physically his superior, whilst also watching QLD play some breathtaking football…

It's not a NSW team OM. It's an exclusive club for a select few teams favoured by Stuart. Selection has nothing to do with form or what happens on the field. It's no surprise a lot of people have given up on them. I used to really look forward to watching SOO and Stuart and his cronies have robbed that off me. Every man and his dog gets a chance except our blokes. NSW can get stuffed.

tbh our boys had their chance to get into the team against Souths and they ruined their chance

Keep them out of this mess this year IMHO.

once we get trounced 3-0 again, A real fresh start can occur, then our boys can get a run.

-Good to see Hayne back in the side, should never have been dropped.
-I have big wraps on Hoppa, but picking him is just plain wrong, he's probably not ready yet and he won't be available again until 2014 after this season is completed
-Front row rotation is a little light, especially after game 1, I'd have left Gal in the back row, and left Merrin on the bench, leaving out Ben Creagh. Certainly good to see Lewis and Chocmong back in the side.
-Glad to see for the most part, the side from game 1 retained, several injuries has certainly hurt us especially in the backline
-Disappointed Jamal was left out, he certainly provides some X-factor
-After Sticky's big act of picking players in position, we have several blokes out of position here, which could prove to be a problem
-What really confuses me is Sticky won't pick Hayne at fullback because he thinks he's a 5/8, but has no problems sticking him on the wing
-The side is no worse than game 1, hopefully we get a bit more ball this time
-Not a great side, but certainly not a shocker, if they fire up like they did in game 1, this should be another good game.

Oh ok. So it's alright for some so called tiger fans to bag any and every team line up, but no one dare question the NSW line up. Farah can have one ordinary game and he's blacklisted, but Ennis can go 5 games straight of mediocre performances, but let's not question that. Hopoate has played less than 20 games and won't be in the Nrl next year, but don't question that.

Some muppets on here eat up every bit of crap the telegraph serves up…others don't.

Bird didnt have a blinder IMO. He flopped and fluttered around like a poof trying to get penalties which wasted time for his side, he was fairly dominated in defense and his own defense wasnt up to scratch.

Watmough has hardly ever let NSW down. He should be a starting secondrower. I'd put bird back to the bench, bring Watmough in, sack Scott as he doesnt offer enough and replace him with Lewis. That way you have brought in two good attacking players with plenty of experience.

I wonder if NSW will toy with the idea of playing Gallen at prop and bringing in another second rower (Lewis or Watmough)

I'm going to the doctor tomorrow If I'm thinking like the NSW selectors are , they're must be something seriously wrong with me . HELP !!!!!
