NSW Team after rep round

Well the test and City v Country is over so after this weekend whats the NSW team likely to be.
Kurt Gidley will be selected along with Mitch Pearce, I believe never deserve it.

13- Gallen - Move to Prop during match

My team:
Big strong backline with renolds kicking and Birds toughness: As Johns said he would have Bird at 6 as you need a running 5/8 and Bird has won man of the match in 4 of his 12 stae of origin matches. He is a little slow laterly but thats where Lewis and Watmough add.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Tolman get in - had a pretty good game in city v country and has been one of the doggies best so far.
 
If your gona beat Queensland, you will need 4 'real' Props… I'd suggest from whats been written/said, Gallen will start in the Frontrow, but will shift to Lock for the remainder. The 2 Morris boys & Hayne must be there!

not sure why everyone has hayne in there side…... fair weather footballer......watch him when he isnt involved in a big play, lazy lazy footballer. i like tiger wattos side but swap hayne with merrit. i dont believe in playing players out of position. if hayne isnt the best fullback available then he doesnt make the side.

Hayne is there because whenever he plays for NSW he is among their best, whether they win or lose.

I reckon you've nailed it there Watto. It wouldn't be my team, but that's the side they will go with I reckon. I think there will be minimal changes from the side that went close to beating Qld last year, but the selectors are bound to try and resurrect the careers of Mason and Gidley - you can bet with Tom Waterhouse on that happening :wink: The only possible change to this side would be if they decide to give Carney another shot, otherwise it will be Maloney a t5/8 as you've chosen.

demps team seems close to the mark

but merrin will be there… tolman would be useless at rep level tbh
quite possibly tariq sims instead of mason

As if you would pick Merritt over Hayne. Hayne always performs in origin. If I had the choice to have either Merritt or Hayne at Tigers I would choose Hayne, he is a game changer and Merritt isn't.
 
Merritt wouldn't cut it in SOO. His defense is poor and his hit ups are soft. He is simply a good finisher, which isn't enough for mine. Hayne has consistently been one of nsw's best over the last 5 years, and should not be left out of the team
 
surely fifita is close to deserving a bench spot. along with JWH and woods, he's one of the form props of the comp

When did I say he was australian? I'm well aware that he's a kiwi. I simply made a comment on him being one of the form props
