NSW Team for Game II

I'd go Uate, Ferguson was good in game 1 getting in to dummy half and easing the workload of our forwards in game 1\. Replace him with another winger who can do the same.

i think he will get destroyed under the high ball though

they should give joel reddy a go :sign:

Merritt is poor defensively and may get found out but probably deserves a chance to show us otherwise. Uate is an option but he's had some errors that have hurt the Blues before. The smokey would be Taufua from Manly who has been very strong.

Looking at the condition of Suncorp you are going to want a reliable winger who won't make too many mistakes and is experienced

Anthony Minichiello maybe , but he does lack some size

Mini is not longer eligible, he changed his allegiance to Italy and can't change it again until after the world cup.

I'd go a completely out of the blue selection and put Mateo on the wing. The man can do anything. Who cares if he's never played the position in his life, or if he's slow and never played origin before. Get the man in there!

Jorge tafua will get the gig if bob Fulton has his way

He'd be my choice too. Big, mobile and hard to bring down, he'll get us on the front foot from kick returns and is averaging well over 100 metres in attack at club level.

While our team is below par on Origin I, we can take hope in Queensland selecting hardly any props. Papalli and DCE to come in for Harrison and Shillington.

Lol newcastle fans blowing up about Merritt been selected, petty funny when both their wingers have failed at origin the last couple of years…

Picking Merritt is just silly.

The way Koro swatted him off like a fly coupled with the fact he is a finisher only spells possible disaster.

it works well at Souths but when Mitchell Pearce is your half you are not going to see that kind of fluid play

i reckon nofo can get to that level next year. merrit wont last long and if nofo keeps improving, he'll be there next year imo. i know it's a big call but i have a gut feeling :sign:
