Nuffies top to bottom

Worst-ever players has been discussed a lot on here but I decided to put together a team of our least consequential regulars - just blokes about whom even the most dedicated fans are likely to think "oh yeah, that guy". A few rules: must have debuted since we last made finals, must have played at least 10 games for the Tigers (which meant leaving out some true nuffies - think Pat Politoni (9 games) and Kurtis Rowe (8)), must not be in any way remarkable.

My main question is: would this team make finals in NSW Cup?

1. Tom Humble (15 games)

2. Malaki Watene-Zelezniak (25)

3. Joel Reddy (27)

4. Sam McIntyre (12)

5. Jordan Rankin (23)

6. Brandon Wakeham (15)

7. Jack Littlejohn (17)

8. Jack Buchanan (41)

9. Manaia Cherrington (16)

10. Tim Grant (46)

11. Joel Edwards (20)

12. Kyle Lovett (c) (50)

13. Justin Matamua (14)

14. Jake Simpkin (41)

15. JJ Felise (13)

16. Oliver Clark (16)

17. Brenden Santi (11)

Put Oliver Gildart in there at number 4.
Only eight games, sadly, otherwise he'd be there. My favourite Gildart memory was how when he got loaned to the Roosters he immediately gave an interview crapping on the Tigers by saying he felt he'd now joined a proper team, then promptly played two games for the Roosters and never made an NRL lineup again.

Sitaleki Akoula for utility value

Matt Mcilwrick
Akuola narrowly missed out because I couldn't look past the holy trinity of Lovett, Edwards and Santi as back rowers. The ultimate nuffie, a bloke I literally can't recall playing for us and possibly the least effective player of all time. Maybe I should have picked Akuola on the wing.

I probably should have included McIlwrick except there were people on here who swore blind he was wildly underrated and I couldn't handle the row.

Harsh. McIllwrick was tough little player.

Where’s the great Jack Buchanan? I remember Easter Monday a few years ago, I was at ACCOR, and we were on top. Then I seen Jack waddle on and I got an instant sickly feeling in my gut. He dropped the ball on his very first hit up,
Named at starting prop mate. Together with Tim Grant, who I had similar feelings about: he'd come off the bench and we'd immediately start letting people run straight through the middle of the ruck. Minutes 30-55 were very, very perilous.

Cherrington was supposed to be the next big thing at hooker, so was Jacob Liddle!

Bro there’s heaps more . The schirnak brothers . Ben Jeffries . David Lima . Ben Black anyone ? Hasan Saleh lol

Solid team. Personally I would put Robert Jennings on this list. Never before have I seen a professional rugby league player be so comically inept. The only thing which carried him was his athleticism. His footy IQ was negative, completely brain-dead.

Sorry I'm rambling now. I just don't understand how as a winger in first grade you can have a bomb hit you flush on the head.

Michael Gillett and Luke Brooks - the two most inept halves I have ever had the misfortune to watch, although Brooks had one good game on debut before becoming a chronic plodder
