How does Kurtis Rowe go defensively and defusing kicks.??

From the little I have seen of him, he reminds me of Tedesco in attack, and positions himself well at the back. Haven't really seen him tested in defence, although the team was certainly shown up tonight.

sorry but its warranted when its not ill say but our defence as a whole is a joke sorry mate truth hurts the ladder does not lie. iam not going to copme on here all fuzzy . mate its just not warrantted yet hope the firsts warrant it tonight.

Tedesco and Rowe both born in 1993 and both attack and support very well…that's were the similarities end.

Big Difference between the two is Defence Rowe has missed 14 tackles in 5 games. Tedesco didn't miss 14 tackles in his entire season in NYC.

OK, thanks for that Blackandwhite. A good fullback can make a lot of difference.

Wests Tigers suffered a 46-30 loss to Brisbane Broncos at Allianz Stadium tonight in round 6 of the NYC competition .

The game was just three minutes old when talented hooker Ben Saunders dummied to a charging Kyle Lovett before burrowing his way over from dummy half to score next to the posts.

Five-eighth Manaia Rudolph converted the try to give Wests Tigers a 6-0 lead.

Brisbane drew level when a grubber kick by hooker and captain Chris Binge from dummy half saw full-back Daniel Levi fly through to dive on the ball to score near the posts.

Five-eighth Louis Frisby converted the try to make it 6-all after 10 minutes.

Two minutes later, the Broncos were in again when half-back Kodi Nikorima finished off a break down the left flank to score next to the posts. Frisby converted the try for a 12-6 lead after 15 minutes.

The Broncos bombed a certain try 2 minutes later when centre Zach Koitka dropped the ball just short of the line after Brisbane defused their own bomb.

Wests Tigers made them pay in the next set when second-rower Joel Luani made a break downfield to link up with Rudolph. The five-eighth stepped back inside to hook with winger David Nofoaluma who did exceptionally well to draw in three defenders before flicking a one handed pass to new centre Asipeli Fine to score in the corner.

Rudolph failed to convert the try to leave Wests Tigers trailing 12-10 after 20 minutes.

A drop ball from centre Bradley Soe in the first set from the re-start inside Wests Tigers quarter cost the side when second-rower Caleb Timu singled out half-back Jacob Miller to score out wide. Frisby converted the try for an 18-10 lead after 23 minutes.

Miller came close to scoring but couldn't ground the ball in the 33rd minute after being held up in a one on one tackle.

The Broncos took their good fortune when winger Tristian Lumley caught a crossfield kick to score in the corner. Frisby failed to convert the try to leave the Broncos leading 22-10 after 35 minutes.

Fine grabbed his second try in the 39th minute when he used his strength from a short blindside raid to dive over in the corner.

Rudolph failed to convert the try to leave the Wests Tigers trailing 22-14 at half-time.

2nd Half
Wests Tigers got back to 22-20 when forward Inno Inosesio beat four defenders in an angle run to score from 10 metres out. Rudolph converted the try.

The Broncos hit back two minutes later when Lumley dived over in the corner. Frisby converted the try for a 28-20 lead.

Brisbane went further ahead with two converted tries to Corey Oates in the 61st minute and Daniel Alvaro in the 65th minute for a 40-20 lead. Frisby converted both tries.

The Broncos went to a 46-20 lead when Frisby scored off a bouncing grubber kick. He converted his own try.

Wests Tigers scored two late consolation tries to Nofoaluma and prop Nathan Brown. Rudolph converted the Brown try for the 46-30 scoreline.

Miller shows nothing to suggest he should be in firsts

Agree!! No denying the kid has talent but for someone on the brink of cracking 1st grade, he makes too many silly decisions in the 20's that lose us the ball!!
I don't know if he's been told to take so much control of the game or it's just a combined cocky attitude of captaincy and a 1st grader buzz, but he needs to share the ball around more!! He got that much of the ball on Friday the game became predictable, especially on the last tackle!! He is not the only talented player in the team that can kick, pass and make a decision!! The likes of Saunders, Santi, Marshall-King and Rudolph have all got good instinctive play making skills and showed this during the Canberra game when Miller wasn't there!!
Rudolph's in play kicking and passing game putting team mates into gaps has been dangerous and is improving every week!
While I'm at it, why the hell is Marshall-King sitting on the bench for so long?!! We could have done with his skills on the field a hell of a lot earlier Friday night!!
I did like the idea of putting Marshall-King in the middle and Rudolph out to the wing! Rudolph can play wing and he enjoys it!! Knowing they both play 5/8, and if it means having both talented play makers on the field at the same time for 80mins… I think this could be another good option!!
