NYC Live Game Thread vs Roosters

Well there's a reason why Miller isn't playing FG. He's just caught a kick off in the in-goal which was going dead on the full for all the money in the world.

Roosters get a penalty after the Tigers were belting them in defence.

Roosters straight through the Tigers paper thin goal line defence to score another soft try.

some poor defense with us not moving up off the line gifts the Roosters a try near the posts. can't see them coming back from this. Big Evans for them has got them some good go forward & has FG written all over him. 12 to go 30-12 Roosters

Rudolph carried across the sideline 5 out from the Tigers line and they're in again from the scrum win. Scoreline blowing out now.

Roosters bring up 40 points through their fullback. Tigers defence is so so bad it's laughable.

Wow! How did this side even get into the top eight, let alone the top four???

Only player we had was a young fellow named Brown. Good game. As for the rest. On the nose.

Trying to work that one out myself. When they've been good they're been too good for everyone, but when they're off their game, they are really quite soft and ordinary. Payten would be disappointed given the talent in this side.

Probably better they end up 5th rather than 4th….though its sudden death then.
Home grounds dont play a part - do they?
Its all determined by first grade

Most NYC sides are like that though

When they fire they can win any game

When they don't they get hammered

Yeah your right about home grounds they try & align them with FG, i would of preferred finishing 4th, so if you win, you get a week off or you get a 2nd chance if you lose. Either way they are going to have to play a lot better than they did today.

Is Luke Brookes any chance of getting a game in NYC this year? Surely he our future 1/2.

I'd say you have to play a minimum amount of games to qualify to play in the semi's otherwise he would of played 7 & Miller @ 6 today?
