NYC Round 8 Team Announcement

We win 2 National U18's championships in a row and get flogged by arguably one of the worst teams in the competition. How do you explain such poor results for a club that seemingly has the best Junior players in the Country??

since when do we have the best juniors in the country in NYC? they've all moved up to NSW Cup/NRL. Only really mitch moses, seve and maybe one or two of the forwards have potential.

e.g. Teddy, Nofo Siro, Koro, Simona, Ava, Luani, Brooks, Lovett, Woods

The pack just simply isn't big enough/good enough. Unless they're really fired up they get steam-rolled by nearly every side. The backs are looking very pedestrian but when the whole team is on the back foot there's not a lot the backs can do.

This team just seems to have a combination of poor attitude and lack of skill compared to other sides.

We just got outmuscled and outplayed, the Titans boys were all over us!Even the blue during the end 5 tigers boys on 1 Titan player who were trying cheap shots in come out 2nd best.Credit goes to the Titans and after watching the Coaches interview on our site the attitude problem starts with HIM!!

My point with my previous post is how do we have the best U/18 teams in 2012 and 2013 and then struggle as 19/20 year olds in 2014\. There have been a number of players relegated or not selected from those 2 teams in preference to additional signings. The results are showing that a few poor decisions may have been made.

It's not all about the stars, the hard workers are the ones who get the job done and I don't think there are enough with that sort of attitude in this team.

did no one watch this game , please some info.

My summary of the last two games is as follows,

The first 3 tries the Titans scored came the next set of six after we bombed 3 tries.
The first 4 tries Parramatta scored was from either a Tigers mistake while attacking the line or from the next set of six tackles from a bombed try.

Our boys never recovered from the poor starts. On top of this, there were a couple of individual mistakes that lead to tries. They just could not stop the roll on.

We may have a small forward pack but they are mobile. I think the line speed in defence needs to improve to combat our lack of size. There was one set of six the forwards didn't let the Titans out of their 20\. Line speed was great but we dropped the ball in the turn over.

The last two games has seen majority of the opposition attack down the right hand side. Opposition coaches are targeting Moses which is sucking the defence in there. Even with the "rotation" of players in the last week, it did not improve this problem in my opinion. It doesn't help with Seve and Hoeter out injured.

I don't think it is attitude, I think confidence is down.
The Tigers lost to the Warriors by 2 points. They bombed 3 tries in the last 10 minutes.
If they can score early, I have no doubt the confidence we be back.
The boys will come good.
