Good looking side, stronger backline with the return of Koroibete and Nofoaluma who both should be raring to go. It will be interesting to see who impresses more up front between Groat and Fotuiaka.

jack was a co-captain and halfback for the balmain ball side in 2011 and as an older kid he had the jump on mitch moses. the side was coached by balin cupples and also had mania cherrington, lovett and nathan brown

Jack Madden was the halfback for SG Ball last year, he was signed because Luke Brooks was unavailable due to injury. He was given the halfback job and over Mitchell Moses but I can tell you that not much happened until Mitchell came off the bench into hooker to get things going. Madden goes OK as a footballer but IMO there are better options available namely Connor Toia.

Groat or Fotuiaka? That's a hard one…

How did Madden go last week??
I was surprised last week that Moses and Brooks were not selected last week, and again this week, also surprised that Curtis Rowe didnt come back into fullback and Rudolf back to five eight.
That said I have never seen Madden play, so no clue how he goes.

Madden had a pretty good debut. They ran a lot of traffic his way but he did OK.
Moses and Brooks are still at school so don't think they will get a run this year.

and when brooks gets his chance at nyc alot of people will forget about a certain jacob miller.

plus unlike miller he is home grown (from one side of the franchise)

i still believe miller is a future quality 1st grade half, luke brooks is something a bit special if he can stay injury free

mitch moses is of similar quality.

Whats the story with Marshall-King? I haven't seen him named for a few weeks and no mention on the injury list. Did I miss something?

Ive been hearing this alot from just about everyone who has seen much of him, Ive only seen him once, he was very good that day. In general with this much talk, it is usually justified.

I haven't seen much of him either, but from what I have seen, he looks sharp. Both he and Mitchell Moses will form an excellent halves pairing in the NYC next year.

Both Jack and Connor played Bundy in the halves against Cabra for BNRU a few weeks back. Connor was a little more dominant with the ball that day, but Jack was very strong defensively. I would say Jack is a little more structured than Connor, who can be a little kick happy at times…my gut says Jack will make the better half overall

He was concussed during the roosters game so didn't play last week and I think this week he's out with the flu!
