That's one very strong looking team and I'll be surprised if they don't win this one. A bit of strikepower on the sidelines too with Murdoch-Masila, Sironen, Parata and Politoni all to come back.

If BMM isn't in the team or in casualty or in first grade? Where is he? 18th man in first grade to drop into the team if he doesn't play firsts?

very good side,

a few surprises, I expected to see Bergovich, Ashin and Evans to start, mind you If they are out, and the other guys are better, than I'm all for it!
Is Groat injured or playing NSW cup somewhere??

On another forum, I saw alot of non tigers fans tipping us (along with the cowboys) to win NYC, what price the double??

Not sure about Groat. He has Roqica and Begovich in front of him at the moment, and with Woods dropping back down, that has forced Begovich onto the bench which is where Groat would probably be if Woods was in FG. It's a long season though and Groat will get his chance.

Groat probably won't play NSW Cup straight away - even though he would like to.

Agree won't play NSW Cup just yet. some of the boys will go back to Club footy just to get some game fitness.

I think that Groat was charged with biting in one of the trials. Maybe he got suspended. Nothing from the club as usual. He would/should be the first one selected in this side if available.

😱pen_mouth: Do you watch blokes like Begovich, Roqica, Woods play…Groat man have talent but he is a way off forcing them blokes out of the team not to mention a few other young guns ahead of him......he may get his chance later in the season......first bloke picked ....I think not

Agree, he's a big, strong unit but does not yet have the workrate or impact that Woods, Roqica and Begovich do. He'll be picked at various stages throughout this season for sure, but look for him to make his mark next year.

Groat played for BRET in NSW Cup off the bench. Seems the coaching staff want to give him real experience
