He's been at 7 for the past two weeks and slayed it. Matt Mulcahy is a running player so it makes sense. I'm surprised Mulcahy is so underrated. He carves up every week and was player of the match in the GF.

yeah noticed he was playing 7 last week too. thought it was temporary. I think he'd have done as well at 6\. Unless mulcahy simply can't play 7/hates it so Moses decided he'd go for it?

True about him being a bit underated, guess that happens when you play with Brooks and Moses. Wasn't quite as good last year from memory throughout the season. Might be wrong about that though, but i remember him in the NYC GF.

Ah Fosio Tatola goes straight in I see. Captained the SG Ball side to the premiership. Very good prop I am led to believe.

wow, didnt notice that macdougall! good spot. he was very good in the national championship; pretty articulate too, well better than rhys who had to give an impromptu speech as MoM.

Why is moses been shifted to 7?

To my knowledge he can only play 5/8.
Rudolph is covering the injured Milone atm but IMO he IS a better 5/8 than Mulcahy, Todd just hasnt given him a decent go through consistent games named in the halves to prove himself! Instead Rudolph finds himself as a fill-in player across the entire backline!

I understand Rudolph is still developing his halfback game but he can play halfback so why not leave Moses in 5/8 where he is most damaging and move Rudolph to halfback?

Rudolph wants to play 5/8, he wants to play for another club at 5/8 but Tigers won't let him go. He has received offers from Canberra and Dogs but club won't let.

Well I can understand why he wants to play at 5/8 because thats where he plays his best footy but Todd hasn't given him a decent run at it even when opportunities have presented themselves.

Todd has seemed to make his intentions with Rudolph quite clear this past preseason. Now for a player who was told not to expect to play in 2012 yet go on and play 80mins every week up to round 24, to finish his rookie season as the competitions top points scorer, only to be randomly omitted from the finals series without a reason as to why he was dropped.
To then also start preseason knowing you're on the outer, be told that you're the only player from last season who must re-trial for 2013, not be selected for the first few rounds and have the kicking duties taken away until reality hit that no-one in the squad could kick as true as Rudolph.
And now, to find himself as an injury fill-in player whose getting thrown across the entire back line every week to cover injured players and knowing that when everyone is back from injury he will again be relegated back to the stands!

I'm told Rudolph is very proud to represent all that is Wests Tigers on and off the field and is a very loyal person, so if he wants out then something has obviously gone amiss!
