I know this is nothing new,and i don't mean to bring this up just coz the tigers played over there yesterday but how unbelievable are these guyz? never come across a more bias commentary team anywhere. When Ryan crossed for that last try the lead commentator could barely conjure a whimper, yet on the other hand almost had an orgasm during the last set of six when the Warriors came within an inch of scoring on 1 tackle when 1 player tried to crash over. Its not like they don't know their broadcast doesn't alwayz travel to Australia coz they alwayz give a shout out to Fox Sports,so would kill them to be imparcial?

I listened on the radio they were biased at some stage but they were even most of the times I wanted to watch it on NZ radio or TV or their forum or something like that and laugh hysterically at their comments including their "orgasm" attack

i've listened to the radio commentary team over there a few times and alwayz find them to be pretty balanced in the way they call the game. Was good to see they were able to show some excitment when Ryan crossed, unlike the other clowns

Yeah foxtel should seriously stop the cost cutting and get rid of these guys…..They are biast....well it comes across that way.

Andrew Johns was death riding us worse than the NZ commentators. He probably was set to lose cash if we won

Exactly what I thought!

I could of sworn the nine commentators were on a warriors weekend.

Johns sounded filthy about Ellis' flick pass.He was just an ego maniac as a player and as a commentator he's just embarressing.Johns and Fittler are perfect examples of how sometimes ex players,no matter how good they don't automatically make good commentators.During the Eels-Dragons game last week he did nothing but giggle like a school girl at things that weren't even the slightest bit funny

I hate the NZ Sky commentators with a passion. Like seriously, I watch Warriors home games on mute. They know absolutely nothing.

Thankfully had the option of alternative commentary (channel 9) this week when we played them.

Joey usually has some good points, he just struggles to communicate them, most ex-players get over that eventually (although some don't, see: Laurie Daley), he'll be a decent commentator in time. Freddy however I do enjoy, his sideline commentry is fun and he doesn't take himself too seriously.

Nathan Hindmarsh - worst commentator ever - city country match.

I always thought the NZ guys on the radio were bad, but they have gotten better - go back 5-10 years though, and they were awful.

I'd love to hear the commentary of the NZ fox guys on that game (sky sports maybe?) just to hear them verbally fellating the likes of meteo and hohaia - then go silent for the "turncoats" Mckinnon, and Marshall.

I didnt like the NZ commentary on the weekend, never really liked Darryl Halligan as a commentator, there's just a boring bias towards his commentary and now the lead guy they have is the same.

What happened to Jason Costigan? (The previous lead commentator over there). He was a bit biased but at least he got very excited, I still remember a tackle thats now on youtube where he goes 'GUTTENBEEEEIL OHHHHHHH COP THAT, COP THAT BIG TIME!'

Hahaha! Costo, that guy was a catchphrase machine. Rubbish too though.

Nothin' better then Rabs and Gus.

Costo had a few good catchphrases. One that comes to mind is that whenever he'd see a player getting ready to come off the bench he'd say 'he's getting ready to recieve his boarding pass'

Whenever you watch a Warriors game, you can guarentee during the post-game interviews when they interview players from the opposition they will only interview Kiwi's or ex-Warriors players

as far as Halligan is concerned,he's worse as a commentator then he was as a footballer, which is saying something

Johns is just about the greatest ever so i don't doubt for 1 second that he doesn't have a football brain, but being on TV is about being able to communicate it verbally, which in my opinion he has zero ability to do.He's just a bogan.

Perfect example in my opinion of a guy who has both no verbal skills and no idea is Gordon Tallis. How that guy retains his job is mind boggling. Can't string two words together and can't go 1 sentence without using the word 'mate'.Love seeing him after Souths lose though

But guys like Johns , Lewis , Marshall would have huge problems trying to explain to Joe Bloggs out there what he means in simple terms . If you have heard guys talking about games from top level footballers between themselves they talk completely differently than they do on TV

Gordy has improved 1000% since he started in my opinion. Joey will get there too, he's getting better. As I said, he has valid points, he just doesn't communicate them very well.

to think he has improved 1000% is a scary thought.I'd hate to think how bad he was when he first started if he's improved that much.I remember when he first started his role at Souths, and the Bunnies were playing 1 night and the panel were giving their tips and he questioned everyone who tipped against Souths and wanted to argue over it.I'm guessing the producer told him that wasn't on coz he hasn't done it again since
