@innsaneink Do you not think he is being replaced by another centre? Have some faith in the coach, he is not an idiot.

Faith?
I'll believe it when I see it

Interesting to note that Madge has left Esan out of the Kiwis test and 9s squad too.

Injured. Had surgery recently

@Russell I think Madge wants Lomax as fullback in the future, i don’t know why just have that feeling.

Pretty simple as I see it--We need speed! The G F was won through speed.Storm, Raiders Souths have it. Esan needed 20 metre run up to get moving-something other teams were awake to.

Yeah, we need players like JAC, Tedesco, Pappenhauzen...............

Hang on................

Rather than insinuating players that we let go.

Maybe you could name someone with speed - that actually wanted to stay.

You could be right Madge - think you could be right eventually as Talau increases his experience.

Well, JAC wanted to stay....Balmain fan.

Pap also...Balmain family.

Not criticising...just would be nice if we got these right for a change when deciding who to keep.

Two ways of looking at it EH.

JAC couldn't wait for Pascoe to get back - so signed with Storm.

Pap wanted an opportunity to play first grade now and he Teddy was in his way and Slater would be retiring soonest - so signed with Storm.

They might have been a Balmain fan and Balmain family but they didn't put themselves out.

Don't think Pap is any great loss myself.

I think Madge is making a play for AJ Brimson , I don't know whether it is for Fullback or 5/8.

To be honest I think it’s a good move by the club. He didn’t deserve an upgrade. He’s too slow and lazy for centre and too lazy and small for back row. Off to Cowboys where I predict he’ll never be heard from again after 1 season.

Yes it’s extremely rare that players leave the Tigers system to find success elsewhere.

This made me laugh on yet another disappointing day in the life of a Tigers supporter

Personally, I think he is but time will definitely tell.

Re Pap leaving...IMO it is more that someone in management should have sat down with Tedesco and said "what are you planning mate? You bolted for Canberra...won't commit long term...keep on saying you want to look around / constantly linked with Easts, Minicello is your mentor...just tell us what you plan straight up. We have a Kangaroo junior FB waiting and we don't want to lose him. If you are staying, we will let him go. If you are leaving, we will make him a priority........."

Instead we sat there passively for six months whilst Tedesco basically screwed us and lost them both...

Think Teddy and Moses (Manager) played it all close their chest and told us nothing, kept putting talks off and gave us false hope. Then stabbed us in theback and knocked back a bigger offer from us to play for the Rorters.

i think this is great news. things need to change at the tigers otherwise the same crap will happen every year. There simply needs to be whole sale changes.

Hard decisions need to be made so we see consistent success. Masters is a great player but he isn't ground breaking.Time to move forward otherwise 2020 will be 9th/10th again.

Mbye has always been just an above average player. Really have no idea how he’s been on $800K+ for the majority of his career.

The thing is he is above average. You just have to pay him that amount and not top dollar.

I doubt JAC was a Balmain fan. He was 5 years old when they played their last game.
