Josh Reynolds speaking on NRL 360.. Sounds like he'll be announcing his season is over tomorrow.. Must have something to do with his shoulder again. His body isn't up to NRL level anymore. Its scary we have invested 4yrs in the guy.

Perhaps a medical retirement?

Yeah I'm pretty sure we will get cap exemption if he's forced to retire.
Damn shame…. He is great for culture...
We gotta start recruiting fully fit players this crap needs to stop

Only way you will get an exemption if it is an entirely new injury…Josh has had shoulder and hammy issues in the past..

Will not fly with the Insurance Company..they aren't easily fooled..Ie see Watmong..

Lets hope results are positive

Looking like a very expensive mistake.

Hey, what could we do. We only had an entire salary cap at our disposal. We just need another 2-3 years. Then watch out.

We tried to buy a quality half, they all knocked us back, you can't force people to come here if they don't want to :deadhorse:

The dogs are having a run at it with Foran, don't think that will fly either

After that try he scored his shoulder looked busted, was struggling to raise his arm in tackles.

He probably needs surgery, they should just bite the bullet and get it done asap with Benji due back.

Season is basically dusted unless a miracle happens.

But at least we made offers to quality players. That's pretty good for a club like ours. I'm happy with that.

Good to see the narrative changes with the change of coach.

Didn't say I was happy with it, but what do you do when the quality players keep rejecting your offers.

Bloke potentially gets a season-ending injury and I read 6 stupid posts about players being cooked and the silly idea of medically retiring someone who gets a new injury playing for us.

Might as well then medically retire Liddle, Jack Bird, Payne Haas, RFM, Tautau Moga, Curtis Siro, Michael Morgan, Dylan Edwards etc.

Lovely, some are already praying for a medical retirement…

Well not having seen the episode in question not heard exactly what he said..just going on what the initial poster mentioned… .it seems exactly this is what we need... He wants to retire apparently

Sorry 851 , that wasnt a go at you. I should have put that elsewhere.
They make the club more attractive. Put money Into Concord now, not 2020\. More money into the coaching staff. The good clubs have an assistant coach AND an ISP coach. How could Hodgo do either job well?storm have a coach to look after the 13 players who don't mske NRL in any given week
If Wests don't have the money or wont spend the money then just sell the license and just look after the pokies.
Every year is just ground hog day. Nothing is changing.

So many supporters seem to gunning for him, and Packer as well. Almost as if they want them to screw up.

Yep …... some people just full of criticism. Best to ignore silly comments and don’t give them oxygen!

Since when do players announce their seasons over?
Clubs do this… Players announce retirement.
My apologies for the confusion... Read it wrong
Stupid me eh?

I reckon after surgery and a off season he will be good to go next year.

Yep conifident (with fingers crossed) that he will come back healthy next year. We certeanly need him and his energy, on the field and firing.

Your comment is spot on. The guy has been a little unlucky in my view and there's no way he'd be contemplating retirement,. I've only been a member of this forum for just over a year and I'm no psychologist but the mood here has become very depressed of late. Of course we're all unhappy with the results of late but some of the commentary here has become unhinged,
