I'm hearing Mbye will be our FB this week.

That's awesome news

Good result, can we agree to a moratorium of a month or two before people start complaining that Mbye is not the answer for FB, after 2 or 3 games for a new club that he has not trained with before.

Good luck with that. They’ll be people on here whinging that he wasn’t strong in his first captain’s run!

:roll

If playing this weekend, signing would need to be announced before team lists are due at 4pm today?

You would think so. I doubt we'd get permission from the NRL. After the bye makes sense. Gives him some extra training sessions.

If not then it will probably be Lolohea to fullback again.

I can't believe he'll pick Tui this week. For me the obvious moves, subject to fitness are Thompson to FB, Fonua to wing and Kev to centre. That leaves a backline of Brooks, Reynolds, Marsters, Naiqama, Fonua, MWZ and Thompson. Not the best backline in the NRL but probably the best we can put out there at the moment. Of course if Yoss' tip about Mbye is correct I'd imagine he'd go straight in to the starting side.

Of course those that would complain on here would think they themselves would be more capable of playing fullback than Mbye.

Kev is not a centre and Fonua is not a winger as he cant take bombs

After seeing fonua on the wing after nofo went down… Never again thanks. If anything Kev wing and fonua stays at centre.

Exactly, other players have been dropped for way less, it makes no sense to persist with him, he is lazy and not interested.

That my thinking too. He'll be here for the bye round.

Bring MWZ in and Thompson or Kev to fullback.

Not sure what side Cotric is on but he has been one of the best finishers in the game this year.

Ummm one hour before team is named. No amount of inside information is needed to say he isn't coming this week…

Trust me is was being pushed hard & came very very close but not enough time to cross the T's & Dot the I's with the Dogs holding things up a little.
