TEAM LIST Official round 20 v Titans squad

Apparently the game is sold out or close to, if that doesn’t give them some sort of lift nothing will
Not another “sell out”, funny how we hear that word so often for Tiger games, but at LO that seems to mean there must be only 15,000 tickets sold. Let me know when we hit 20k +, now that’s a sellout in my eyes.

Must be a lot of safety restrictions these days, I remember the Cronulla game was a “sell out” yet I remember it was only about 14.8k

The last 18k crowd I remember at Leichhardt I think was vs Canberra in 2016 I think it was? we had to win to get in the 8 and they wiped the floor with us

Exactly, the Cronulla game reinforces my point. I’ve not read officially of any safety guidelines but would love to if anything actually in place.

Even at 18k the crowd is already packed in like sardines at Leichhardt.

We need to buy some 2nd rowers big time IMO..

Like the team considering but could you imagine a damaging 2FR like David Fifita running lines to create space for the outside backs.
A pack of May and Keaon would be epic Souths are contendors for the spoon this year he might see a better future at the tigers.

So you're saying they're lying about sell-out crowds?
No R, all I’m saying is what constitutes a sellout coz us LO old timers knew what a sellout actually looked like.
A sell out match now mean 15,000 but I for one would just like to know how many tickets are actually available.
It’s not a big deal, just an enquiry.

Leichhardt in particular is hard to say because probably 2/3 of the capacity is on the hill

Certain stadiums like Commbank, Accor, Suncorp etc are easier to predict crowds as it shows you how many seats are sold on the map

My bad.

Pretty sure capacity has decreased following the barrier collapse a few years back and is max 16k. Was there at the 2005 Souths game when they had about 23k. That was something I doubt I'll experience in this country again.

So I wonder where they used to fit the 20k+ crowds that I remember, v Norths ( Amco Cup), v Penrith( top 4 playoff) , and others I’ve forgotten.
Is that due to safety concerns or inability to attract those numbers any more.
I’ve got an idea. Let’s play the Dogs at LO to test the capacity ! If they didn’t get 23,000 plus then the crowds would have to be made limited.

Yeah the ‘80s had some big crowds.

I was at a game vs the Dragons, maybe 1985 with 22,000. Not a record but the place was heaving.

No doubt, it’s a special place.

If it was 85 I was there too. And it was a record for that time, beaten a year or two later. People were sitting in the walkways on the hill side of the ground. Mick O’Connor was playing for Saints and we went down 17-15……. I think!

Should win comfortably for once without taking blood pressure medication 😂💊

Tigers 42
Titans 24

Taylan to get a double on debut plus terrell to also get over the line plus both fainus to score 1 each to make more history with 2 sets of brothers to all score in the same game

🙏
