Im trying to have an open mind about MMA, but its yet to get me. I admire the fighters greatly and believe u have to be one tough bastard to do it, but im yet to appreciate the take downs and wrestling. I know it takes enormous skill and technique, but i find it boring when they are on the ground.

I think it made me dislike it even more, I appreciate the power/strength/courage to partake in it but I just can't stand the brutality.. elbowing or punching a guy 6 times in the head whilst hugging just doesn't sit well.. I think I'll stick to boxing :stuck_out_tongue:

boxing is actually more dangerous, the gloves they wear in boxing are there to protect the fighters hands not the fighters heads, it worse to get punched in the head for 10 rounds then get knocked out by a single blow, but its your opinion you either like MMA or not

Yeh that was a good fight. Cant see me ever liking it more than boxing, but if more fights were like that one it would be good.

I grabbed a best of these things when VHS was still popular or it might have been the very early days of DVD but after watching these matches and very few since, there is no entertainment value in these fights.

There is more entertainment in your pub brawl than these. That is just my opinion.

However, I'm fairly reliably informed that Fedor is better than Silva but last I heard they were fighting in different competitions.
