Twal is good defensively and makes consistently good metres but i'd like to see him develop an offload. Our pack is heaps better but except for Luc there aren't any offload threats.

Madge bought Tamou in for a reason...quality leadership and mentor for the young guys...If everyone bags Tamou after 3 games they have not a clue what he brings to the training paddock and then onto the playing field...there isnt one of the players in this side atm that could be a seasoned NRL player with captaincy qualities......James will get better as he gets familiar with the team..

When James Tamou and Alex Twal are regarded as our weakest middle forwards, things are on the up. Last year we have Eisenhuth and ET getting picked regularly

Tamou is a leader. Takes the tough carries and makes tackles. His signing is astute he has monsters doing the work Utoikamanu, Musgrove, Ofehengaue, Twal.

The mistake we made in the past was relating on veterans for production simply because we needed leadership.

If he is out least productive forward and minutes reduce his job is done.
