OK, time for controversial corner...

Did what was required.

People need to be patient with him. He's going to be a great player IMO. He's still just 21 remember.

Much better performance tonight, maybe he hates the Dragons, best game since we played them in the finals last year

Oh darn, here I was thinking this thread was gonna be "what excuse are the experts gonna use as to why the tigers were lucky to win"!!!!

I have been upset with his committment to defense for most of the year but have to say that he wasnt just solid tonight…he was one of our best. Took the line on, made some important tackles and kicked brilliantly.

Still needs tackling practise but at least he tried hard all night.

You may want to refer to Laurie Dayley's twits or St George's forum for the answer…

Lui is still a target in defense our line speed against the steelers was great but 1 on 1 with Lui equals line break

Best game of the year for Lui, I reckon. He looked very dangerous with the ball in hand and his defence was better. Saves his best for the Dragons for some reason.

My controvesial comment…now that I have calmed down, is that the Tigers really built up to our last two games. It is important to keep up the intensity to roll the lower rated sides we play over the next 4 weeks. No more losses could leave us in the top 6, a much safer place to be at the start of the final series.

His running game impressed me a lot. His kicking game was much better. If Lui plays like this every week, we win most games, he takes pressure off Marshall.

I thought it was his best game of the year. His kicking game was much better than in previous weeks and I thought he made a few solid tackles too.

For mine it was his second best game this year, best was in Canberra.

I have been a huge fan for a long time, Lui with the ball is what this team needs. He is a good foil to Benji and has a great long kicking game.

Defence still needs a lot of work but his effort in defence tonight was better.

I am also a fan of Jacob Miller's but after watching the 20's tonight he is a long long way behind Lui. His defence in the 20's game was woeful (Lui would look like the worlds best defender in comparison to Miller's game tonight), he will in my opinion need at least another full year in the 20's and I don't think he will ever have the same ball skills Lui has. I do realise Miller was coming back from an injury.

Sheens has made Lui his halfback, has great faith in him and I think Sheens will be proved right in his choice.

hard to not think back to the grandstand finish of 05! 8 in a row coming in to the finals would be awesome.

tigers are on a :roll baby!!!

actually, as this is controversial corner here is mine:

blake ayshford. im a huge fan but i really want more from him. week in week out he is the most reliable and solid player but i think now its time for him to break out and make more line breaks and get more passes to the winger.

just seems every time he has the ball he just gets tackled lately. harsh maybe, but i just really want him to become more of a game breaker.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm a Lui fan. I think the past few weeks he really is making some good decisions. He was terrific against the Dragons last night and that was probably his best kicking game of the year. Still a lot of ribbing about his defence though. He's a halfback. Of course he's going to be targeted, most halfbacks are. I thought he made some good tackles and yes he missed some also, but you need to take into consideration the amount of traffic being directed at him. Marshall, Lui and Farrah are all complimeting one another beautifully at the moment.

His defense was as good as any player, apart from Fulton who is on fire…composed kicking game and played his hand well...great game for lui
