Roberts hasn’t had any ball at all and is below min contract. BJ won’t ever be cheap and has had 1 good game for us and 30 terrible games. People have short memories. If BJ plays the rest of the season as a player of his skill/talent should then look at keeping him but he hasn’t done anything to warrant us to even think about it yet.

I wouldn’t trust BJ as far as I could throw him. He’s only playing well to earn himself a 3-4 year retirement package then he’ll phone it in again and get on the oportos.

If we DID sign him, it should be heavily performance based on a much cheaper 1 year deal

I've seen enough to know that Roberts is done as an NRL player. We should send him to Wigan and get Gildart here asap. Roberts is probably good enough to still mess up the Super League.

Welcome good news. Might even help silence some of the fools in the Murdoch press heaping abuse on WT and calling for our demise. Time will tell how the young man goes in the NRL. He appears to have plenty of ability. Might even inspire Joey to uncork one of his old wrecking ball centre performances this week against the Knights.

Big Joey with his strength and Gildart with his speed and sidestepping would be great centre combination.

Neither of our existing main centres- BJ & Roberts- have done enough to earn another contract at this stage. Maybe if they get it together for rest of season can give them a further year but thats it. I'd be planning for new centre paring - Gildart and Talau would do me for starters.

Better have Oliver's wife/partner flown over to confirm the digs. Oliver won't be able to perform without things on the Homefront being outstanding. But with what's happening in the UK, Aust is a good option. I hope he goes well in the tradition of the other good UK players at Balmain and Wests.
