There was a photo of him and I merely said he doesnt look big (not physically imposing). So what? I also said I hope is our next Andy Currier. I have watch him play a little bit and to be completely honest, I havent anything particularly positive to say about him. I hope he is a raging success here with us.

The only issue for me was he seemed to be injured a lot .. hopefully this will be worked out with proper training / exercise and Physio

Agreed 100%, the constant negativity from some on here is pathetic.

I'd rather wait and see what he and Hastings bring to the team before passing judgement. It's not like there are a bunch of world class centres/halves beating the door down to sign with the Tigers.

The game is full of players who are "not big enough" but do their job well. Given his history of England selection we should be giving him a chance before we write him off as hopeless. Unsurprising that there are ***so many naysayers*** who have not watched a minute of him playing, goes to show the fickle nature of rugby league fans.

There has been a false narrative pushed that he'll be garbage in the NRL. It's a false narrative because no-one here has any way of knowing that. I'm not asking for us all to start singing his praises, but being realistic about how skill level and playing ability based in precident from past seasons in England would be to be somewhat optimistic, not completely writing him off.

I reckon they are two good signings in positions where we need them. Time will tell how they perform but I'm pretty confident in Hastings. Gildart from what I've seen which is very little is good with the ball in hand but defensively needs a lot of work.

The mods want positive posts. Yet a couple of guys have nothing but negative things to say. Once someone fires up against them those same mods quickly ban them from this platform for a week.

I've been negative about Gildart previously, that was the wrong approach. Have to give him a chance and see what he does at NRL level before passing judgement. Hope he kills it!

Mate there is nothing wrong with having an opinion, the truth about your opinion is always the "right approach". If you have a concern about an aspect of him or his play, its the truth and its valid. This theory that it all has to be unicorns and rainbows is rubbish.
